A Simple Solution For Stringing And Drooling

A common practice for dealing with stringing and drooling is melt decompression. But as scientific molding experts would agree, this is not an ideal way to deal with the problem because it destabilizes the molding process. This, in turn, can cause problems much worse than stringing and drooling.

The Mini-Shut™ Automatic Shutoff Nozzle Tip is a simple, cost-effective solution to drooling and stringing. It shuts off instantaneously as soon as melt flow stops, preventing melt from escaping the end of the nozzle. Its unique design allows for the free flow of material, which results in almost no loss of pressure.
