The Inject-EX™ separates the Melt Pool from the Melting Chamber by achieving instantaneous shutoff as soon as screw rotation stops.  The separation allows for Melt Pool sensing/analysis in a manner that is very precise. In this sense, the use of Melt Decompression and Back Pressure perform differently than in any other process.

Inject-EX™ Benefits to the Processor:

    b). The nozzle orifice is not restricted to the Extruder size/output which allows

  2. Injection of the Polymer is not oriented as the same path as the print bead which ultimately provides structural strength in transverse directions than the bead / build.
